The Positive Effects of Field Trips on Fungi

Every time we go out to the field, we find a new species in Chile. We just finished with quaternary, it's over 200 new species and I work with University of Florida, University of Tennessee and Cucardins. And so that's one of the amazing things about our collection and this DNA study that we're doing is that just in one genus, for example, the genus Diciceda, which is an arid and semiarid occurring, what we would call gastrum I see. So it's like a puff ball.
