Huxley and the Evolution of Evolution
Huxley was very concerned that because of the atrocities of the Nazis, this whole general way of looking at evolution would be kind of thrown out the window. Huxley himself is the first scientific director of UNESCO. He helped some of the more prominent German researchers working in the Nazi regime to migrate to Britain and the United States so they could continue their research. And he very much foresaw that we would be doing stuff like, you know, what we now call CRISPR and gene editing and things of that kind.
