The number of things on someone's plate at the same time, that's where you're going to make a difference. I don't care if you tell me Friday is off or not. The work week is at best a suggestion for when you can expect people to schedule meetings with people. But otherwise it's task execution. That's often haphazard. It also has a working at a natural pace and obsessing over quality.
