The Primacy of Logos in Benedict's Pontificate
Benedict gets this from the German theologian Ramada Bardini's notion, the primacy of logos. When we don't keep that first and foremost, we will end up subordinating everything to the will, right? In other words, simply because I can do it, I should do it. Of course, the liturgy is a prominent theme. He quotes this in his book on the theology of the liturgies, The Collected Works.
