What to Do With a Dead Whale Stranded on the Beach?

We're not entirely certain why whales end up stranded, especially on mass. There's a lot of debate about what exactly you should do during a whale stranding. And to fully understand how to help whales and other citatians from becoming stranded in the first place, we have to understand why they become stranded.
