Jesus Gives a Unique Authority to Peter
Jesus entrusted a unique mission to Peter. We're going to talk about that more as days go on. Jesus is establishing the kingdom and pointing to himself as the Messiah through signs and wonders. Despite his evident miracles, some people reject Jesus. He is even accused of acting by the power of demons. By freeing some individuals from earthly evils, injustice, death, Jesus performed messianic signs.
