There's definitely class stuff at play in there where an arth there is the other sort of gentry figure but for me he seems to become sort of assimilated into kind of the middle class work effort and particularly like it's interesting that Van Helsing makes him state Lucy. Jonathan Harker who is of course the epitome of like the middle class hero isn't I think there's something metaphorical probably going on there as well about that sort of old system of with peasants. talk a lot of and with a lot of scorn about the peasantry that nevertheless he needs to move his unconscious body across Europe.
