It's funny that you mentioned lighting, because having watched director commentary, i can tell you that it is 90 % talking about how each scene was difficult to light. We're just so large, you know, they the wizards council scenes are set in an actual opera house that was hard to make look good. There was a lot of talk about just the library and en different places that they had found in prague that were difficult to to make looks good.
