The Myth of Nica's Syphilis
Myth is that nita had cyphilis. This we can actually say definitively is not true. In the pre antibaotic era, it was unusual for patients with paritic syphilis to survive longer than two years after the onset of symptoms. Nica still appeared to most observers to be in good health for many years after his collapse.
