Is There a Difference Between Black and White?
When lika first announced their monochrome i, i, i made fun of it. Why would you get a digital camera that doesn't shoot color, right? Because you can always just make a color conversion. And i didn't get it until i actually sat down with one and started shooting with one. It forced me to reframe entire thinking about photography. Our visual nervous system evolved over a hundred and 50 million years to a to discriminate wave length, electromagnetic wave length energy. The different discriminations are represented as colors in our heads.
