Is It Sufficient to Exhibit Intelligence?
Hundreds of programmes capable of some measure of intelligent action in the appropriate domain. If there are limits beyond which the hypothesis will not carry us, they have not yet become apparent. There's a really long list of programmes that do somewhat intelligent stuff. Interpreting visual scenes is not a solved problem. A hand eye co ordination, designing, write computer programs,. These are all things that we still find are not easy to write. So he's just saying that it's gotten more complicated.
