How to Be a Successful Game Designer

"I was a baby game designer. So I didn't know there was like a concept of games that couldn't ship," she says. "If someone pitched it now, it'd be like, no, absolutely not." 'This sounds like the best game ever,' you're told during your first meeting with developers at FITCEL. You were recruited straight out of school to be the first full-time developer on Scribblanc - and they weren't even working on their own game yet. They had just done some pre-vis level design work before moving onto other projects.
