The Disabled Debauchee
The disabled debauchee is written in the voice of an aging rake. The poem also uses the term link boy, which was a term for a young man or teanager who could escort people around the streets of the city at night. So you can imagine the sort of a scandal and and in shock that a poem like this could produce just a few years after the end of the puritan regime.
