The Origins of Aristotle's Methodology
Alberoni was part of a very different tradition, one that was often at the periphery. His main predecessor was John Philoponus, whom he read extensively. They didn't want to reform Aristotle's thought, but undermine it and tear down the whole façade. Alberoni shared this with his contemporary al-hyphen, and the two of them would be responsible for the birth of a new methodology.
