Anticoagulation
ACOG really has three kind of recommendations so if there's a patient with recurrent unexplained pregnancy loss or history of vascular thrombosis that's not provoked they should be worked up. If you have antiphospholipid syndrome but no histrithombosis these patients should be unpropylactic anticoagulation throughout the pregnancy and up to six weeks postpartum. Now do they continue it without stopping if they're going to have a c-section? So that is a good question and I'll partially address that next.
