The Middle Class Is Getting Worse
The Islamic Republic is not a transparent state, as it is often the case with authoritarian states. The sanctions that have been placed in Iran by the Trump administration has kind of put a lot of economic pressure on the population. There's incredible inflation. And so every time there are economic issues, the regime tends to put more pressure on its ideological agenda.
