Liver Transplantation
The patient recovered rapidly and developed a normal quality of life without further signs of liver damage, such as rejection or injury to the wild ducks. The overall proliferation of the cells in the liver was maintained and improved over that course of one month, one year after the transplant. So the liver is doing its thing functioning appropriately. And it really is, I think, a milestone for potentially not just liver transplantation, or perhaps other organs as well.
