The Great Comic Artist - Ean Kendy
Ean kennedy died last week aged 89, still working pretty much up to the end. He had an incredible painterly style, and a really three dimensional style which made everything absolutely come to life. To me it was like a bridge between the kind of war comics of the fifties and sixties and into the madder, more deranged, imagination based stuff of later. But now, looking back, i say we were just so spoiled. We were absolutely really sob ye ut for fantastic artists.
