i created a spread sheet where each of the columns had a task at the top of it, and then each row was a day. And all i would do was just fill in the number of minutes that i spent doing those tasks. At the end of the month, i could tally it up and see how many hours i was putting in for the month. So if you want to take a project seriously and you are stressed out about it, then focusing on putting in the hours is a very good place to put your focus - no matter how much good stuff's coming out or not.
