Is Starry Decisis Bad for the Court?
CNN's John Sutter looks at the different justices' attitudes to a starry decisis. Justice Alito says adhering to precedent will lead people to respect the court, but opposite is true, he writes. In one of the cases where the Supreme Court overturned a prior precedent, Justice Gorsuch said let's do it, guys. The government would be fine with that, Ginsburg asks.
