i got sober at 24, stayed sober about eight years, drank again for a few years, got sober again. i was always a drunk e so the i one, once i restarted that, things really went nuts again. So how has it affected our friendship? It's interesting, i think i got sober the first time, that was a big change because chris was still pretty firmly in the world we had inhabited for years. And i let him be where he was, and he let me be where i was, and we still found the things that we did connect on. The other parts of the relationship were still there, and were still really solid.
