How Did You Become an Architect?

I really love architecture, and i enjoy the elegant problem solving. But it took me nearly 20 years to realise that actually, my soul isn't in it. I was used to a nice, warm environment, whe you could run around naked in the rain. It looks horrible if you think that the weather's not very good in the lake district, in all scotland. You got to be kindo you got to be in with with a fashion, with the mode of the times. Andjust, it completely eluded me. The fashion industry didn't appeal. Guess i could have done other things, but it just seemed like the natural thing in the end.
