Is the Sheriff's Office a Law Enforcement Agency?
i'm originally from tucson, o and out there we have pema county sheriffs. Now i live in hampton, virginia,. Nd hampton and the county that it is part of, i are the same thing, so it's the same jurisdiction. In the sheriff's office, they work the courts the jails, and they serve warrants and things. So it's a secondary law enforcement response. The police department has the primary responsibility for the entire city. And it may be germain to the commonwealth.
