Introduction

Michael Houta has been director of the German Economic Institute since July 2004. His article entitled Tired of Science notes on the relationship between university and society appeared in TILOS 200 in fall 2022. In autumn 2019, he was adjunct professor at Stanford University. He says we have a lot of actual dilemma in the public sphere: which way can science really deliver truth?
