Daniel Bell was part of the original Neacond crew that started the public interest with Irving Crystal. He wrote like three books, and this is one of them; it's a collection of essays. It's kind of his diagnosis of what's wrong with modernity. And he puts the blame on capitalism, which I think is very interesting.
