The Pursuit of Independence
I have to start taking argument with the question because I think the pursuit of independence is what an individual can do, so you can't be a sign of a society liberated or mistaken. That pursuit of independence from the point of view of an individual has nothing to do with being alone or not. It's a question of being able to make choices that you would like to make rather than choices being forced upon you. The more choices that we have or are enabled to take that determines our own life journeys, the more liberated a society we live in or liberated a situation we live in. How we then make it? Because it's linked to freedom.
