The Labour Party's Problems
The Labour Party has not got the depth it would once have had, says Jonathan Ashford Shabal. The left is still very strong and will want to insist on some socialist policy in Keir Starmer's agenda - a tension likely to kick off over next couple of months. We live in an incredibly uncertain and unstable world, he adds. But if Mr Putin starts throwing nuclear weapons around, there could be a different debate about who we want running the country... I'll put my money on October 24.
