How to Translate the Plus Spectrum Into Clinical Care

The way that RLP was managed in the 1980s was that you're either plus or not plus. If we can't get three levels consistent, there's no way we're going to get nine levels consistent. The challenge is coming up with a way to represent this continuous spectrum of abnormality quantitatively and reproducible. But I view this concept of the pluses spectrum as the first step toward quantifying disease progression.
