There's this paper that Google released like few weeks ago called revisiting neural scaling laws and they put out this big benchmark of a zillion like experimental data. You basically use this equation to get smoothly broken combinations of these power laws. And the log log plot you have is the same thing as neuroscaling laws, which is something like test loss on the y-axis and compute the parameters on the x-axis. All you need is some points near the break and it's all predictable.
