The New Prime Minister of Iran, Muhammad Mosideg
In 1952, Muhammad Mosideg was elected as the new prime minister of Iran. British agents began hatching a plot to overthrow Mosideg and install a new leader in Iran. But Mosideg caught wind of the plan and took swift action; he shut down Britain's embassy. H. Freeman Matthews is one of the top American officials working on foreign policy.
