We are spinning relative to the centre of the earth. We would fly off into space if the earth was spinning faster, says Ike. The whole universe could also be spinning at the same rate as we are. But gravity is more powerful than that centriputal force. And because it's very nearly constant, it just sort of gets like, subtracted out from the gravity that you feel right now.
