Developing a Self-Deicing Road Substance

Exploring the drawbacks of road salt as a de-icer and introducing a novel self-deicing substance made from a polymer called SBS and an alternative salt called potassium formate. Experiments demonstrated that the hybrid compound delays ice formation and continues to release salt for an extended period, making it a potential solution for preventing accidents on icy roads.
