Madeline from Hertfordshire says it's nearly impossible to afford a home in the area that you grew up in. Lucy: Why can't lenders consider maybe request long term bank statements, request information about how much system does this person mean with paying up their rent every month? Madeline: I would probably pay around 1,400. It is not affordable, but basically knowing that you are going to own the home or your children might be able to commit in the future will be worth it.
