Theodore Obiang is Africa's longest serving president having taken power from his uncle, Anikou, in 1979. Over the past nearly 50 years of rule, he has worked very diligently to consolidate power in his family. Now in his 80s, however, a conversation is starting to shift to succession with many experts considering his son as likely a successor. Is there someone actually on their way to come help Equatorial Guinea to catch them before they hit the ground in 2026?
