The Crucifixion of the Eucharist
The Eucharist is more than a nice meal with friends but a holy sacrifice. It becomes the source and summit of the Christian life as Saint Paul says, live your lives, offer your bodies as a living sacrifice. So if we're to become disciples of Jesus Christ, then the road that we must walk ends at Calvary. If anyone would be my disciple, let him first deny himself, take up his cross daily and follow after me.
