CHAPTER

The Role of Molecules in Connectivity

There are more molecules of water in a glass of water than there are glasses of water in all the world's oceans. After you drink that water and it comes back out of you, there's enough molecules that pass through your kidney to populate every single other possible glass of water drawn from the world's water supply. The same works for air. More molecules of air in a breath of air than there are breaths of air in the entire atmosphere of the earth. And so think about what that means for our connectivity. We are a shared organism in a way. Yes. With the water and the air, we are participants in the consumption of this life sustaining blood of the planet called water and air
