Henry slesinger has been writing about espionage for 20 years. His new book out is called honey trapped, and it's a history of sexpionage. He started off writing about technology, and that kind of sagade into espionage. Espionage has a reputation for saing cutting edged technologies. But a honey pot operation is, at its heart, resolutely low tech. Like all human intelligence techniques, it plays on a target's natural desire for intimacy, power and respect. In the hands of somebody like anna chapman, those basic drives are powerful tools.
