The Book of Mormon Is All About Myths
The book takes a lot of the Chicago myths, which are all about crime and corruption. It doesn't mean that they aren't true. My rabbi would say a myth is a poetic telling of a basic truth. For example, the Old Testament is a myth. The New Testament is not so much a myth, but it's kind of a cautionary tale.
