The Magic of Jason's Death
Jason's first task to compete for IETs was that he needed to plant a bunch of dragon teeth in the Earth, Cadmus style. Medea made a fancy schmancy salve for Jason to put all over himself. She just knew she just met him, so why would she like him? But regardless of basically understanding that there was some bullshit going down, she was in it. It's fucking magic. So of course, Jason was still a hero and so he basically imitated Cadmus entirely and defeated these weird grown men from teeth.
