In the US privacy is a huge cultural value. And that's why we don't necessarily have to say hi to everyone. We pass on the street if we know them or something like that. So you're coming from another country and you come into the US, you might automatically make that judgment. It's quite easy to start to conclude that these people are ridiculous. I think we all go through that at some points.
