The Importance of Understanding Artificial Intelligence

Suzanne Nossel: Do we first need to create a new culture around artificial intelligence? She says it's not just the few in Washington who are tech savvy, but that everybody understands how it's going to impact our lives. Nossel: Machines are right there with us driving autonomous tractors and picking parts out of bins at warehouses. We don't question why the tires on my car are made of this kind of rubber; I trust they'll do it for me.
