People of the INFJ type are not really married to their own perspective. They're actually watching their unconscious mind form patterns. And they have the ability to jump inside other people's perspectives extremely well. So when somebody else says something that cues you into what pattern would be attached to maybe that piece of information, you suddenly know a bunch of information about this other person that they didn't reveal.
