How Do You Carve Out Your Relationship With Nature?
I understand the world because i started to build up my relationship with nature. My sense of place and belonging as some one that lives in this country is because of blackbirds that sing on a summer evening. And i'm like that, there's my blackbird, its swallows arriving. So i know that winter is over. It's the first blackthorn flowers, its redwings and field fars arriving in the autumn. If you haven't had that relationship, you don't seek it out. I think it's been powerful that, despite its not being offered to me on a play, it was the only place that made sense to me. A sense of belonging in nature is
