The Origins of Land Parties
We didn't want to assume anything, but we also looked for opportunities going back to what we said earlier about Battle Zone and maze and the colony. And one way Chris and I did that was with the intro, where all of our credits are rolling on the screen and it's transitioning through all these really triple A first person shooters like doom, halo, golden eye. We touched as well on the social aspect of it before, you know, people booting up copies of doom on the network at work or school. But obviously as the 90s progressed, I mean, land parties became such a big deal.
