The Ring of Fire in Northern Ontario

Mining companies and first nation communities are all buying for a share of the possible riches this mineral deposit may hold. This bubble of ancient magma cooled two billion years ago bat the hinos o again, as a flurry of mining claims hits the area. So heard the beginning here. Why do we call this area in northern ontario the ring of fire? Well, they were huge fans of johnny cash. And so the name was partially inspired by that. But also, when you look at the ring ofFire on a map, the deposits do kind of look like a, like a ring shape. It wasn't coming from nowhere.
