What's HTTPS?
encryption is a way of scrambling information between the origination point and the destination point. Most web sites have moved over from HTTP to HTTPS over the last decade or so. It means that we can feel really secure about the fact that our information isn't getting stolen as long as they're handling it competently on the server side.
