Boris Johnson's Suspension Has Become More Serious
The Mail is having an absolute melt down over this. It's what six pages of pure defense of Johnson, excuses and attacks on the committee. He now has five key offenses against him. The first two would have been there anyway. But now there's also breach and confidence by leaking part of the report in advance,. impugning the privileges committee, and complicity in a campaign of abuse and attempted intimidation of the committee. And now it's a 90-day suspension - although not because he's already resigned.
