Sickness, suffering and death were not a part of God's original design in Eden. There are consequences of the fall when a lie leading to a deception led to a rebellion. The trauma we carry is not a hold that he will cover over with dirt as if it never happened. It's a hold dug deep into us by an imposter who pours his love deepest into us.
