Civil Asset Forfeiture
Civil asset forfeiture is the idea that if assets are even suspected to be connected, law enforcement has the right to take those from you. The burden is on you to do whatever it takes to prove that you have those assets legitimately and then get them back. This primarily targets the vulnerable CAF, civil asset forfeiture. When abused overwhelmingly targets people that cannot fight back it is a feature of the system.
