The Distinction Between Queerness and Trans Life
JJ: Avi and I didn't plan to write a book. We'd actually written an article together that received a prize. It was the first Tauracius Prize, which was given by the International Psychoanalytic Association. And we were sort of thrilled at the idea that it would be published in the IJP. At the last minute, the publication stalled over sort of questions of what was in the article.
